Was useful before they got greedy

They seem to have forgotten to mention in the update notes that one of the updates drastically shortened the ruler so that now it only goes to 8" (used to be able to scroll for feet) and then says "want a longer ruler? Buy another version of our app." I have no problem with having a pro version so the developers can receive compensation and I understand that free versions often have advertising or fewer features than pro versions. I do have a problem with an update removing functionality so they can charge for it. If theyd sent out a message saying, hey, the developers really need funds to keep going, please buy the pro version to support us if youre happy with our app, Id have bought the pro version. This taking away something so they can hold that something for ransom however is not the right technique to get my money.
